Helps the engineers involved in the rural development to take account of agricultural practices, land use and landscape management of the rural areas in a water quality perspective.
It’s adapted for 20-30 km2 catchment plots. These tools consist in:
- capacity building tools that explain how water and pollutants are transferred in agricultural catchments and the role of the landscape structures,
- a modular framework to assess the active/contributing areas, the corresponding pollutant pressures based on expert rules for five types of pollutants, nitrates, phosphorus, herbicides, organic matter and bacteriology.
