Chambre Régionale des Pays de la Loire
(Regional Chamber of the Pays de la Loire)
The Regional Chamber of Agriculture of the Pays de la Loire through its network and its surveys is involved in agricultural policies. It puts forward the interests of farmers and agro-food industries, regarding the interests of all land stakeholders. It will be involved in all actions of WP1.
An important activity of the Regional Chamber of Agriculture of the Pays de la Loire, in close collaboration with the 5 Departmental Chambers of Agriculture of the Pays de la Loire and the French Livestock Institute (Institut de l’Elevage), is applied research for dairy production. All together carry out networks of representative dairy farms, in order to provide information and references to dairy farmers, and are involved in WP2.
The Regional Chamber of Agriculture of the Pays de la Loire cooperates also in this project with Derval' s experimental farm which belongs to the Departmental Chamber of Agriculture of Loire-Atlantique, involved in WP3.
The applied research focuses more and more on environmental aspects, in order to provide clean and green systems to farmers.
