Dairyman aims to strengthen rural communities in the regions of North West Europe (NWE) where dairy farming is a main economic activity and a vital form of land use. Dairyman will lead to a more competitive dairy sector, stronger regional economies and an improved ecological performance with the rural area. Dairyman is a project in the INTERREG IVB program co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. In Dairyman 14 partners in 10 NWE regions covering 7 countries are cooperating.

Students learn importance of young stock management

To make agricultural students aware of the importance of young stock management, the teachers of the Lycée Technique Agricole visited the Dairyman pilot farm Leider for a practice lesson.
