Dairyman aims to strenghten rural communities in the regions of North West Europe (NWE) where dairy farming is a main economic activity and a vital form of land use. Dairyman will lead to a more competitive dairy sector, stronger regional economies and an improved ecological performance with the rural area. Dairyman is a project in the INTERREG IVB program co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. In Dairyman 14 partners in 10 NWE regions covering 7 countries are cooperating.

Flemish pilot farmers eager to learn in Dairyman

The Flemish pilot farmers are very motivated to learn and to participate in the Dairyman networks. The farmers and their advisors met at KTC Hooibeekhoeve where they were introduced to Dairyman and themselves. The meeting was closed with a guided tour on the KTC. After this successful first meeting the Flemish participants already look forward to the next meeting.
